Tell me what is wrong with it.
A calculator that argues for accuracy should be held to it. Corrections, method questions and accessibility reports are all genuinely welcome.
Email is the only channel, and it reaches me directly rather than a ticket queue. There is no contact form here on purpose: the site has no backend and submits nothing anywhere, so a form would be a box that quietly discards what you typed. Write to admin@weighttimeline.com and I will read it.
I aim to reply within a few working days. This is a one-person project rather than a staffed support desk, so a bug report with enough detail to reproduce will always move faster than one without.
What to write about
Something looks wrong
A projection that disagrees with itself, a figure that does not match the table beneath it, a date that moves when it should not. Tell me the inputs you used — weight, goal, height, age, activity level, intake and units — and I can reproduce it exactly.
Report a problemThe method itself
Questions about the Mifflin-St Jeor baseline, the NEAT penalty, how the plateau window is detected, or the coefficients behind adaptive thermogenesis. If you work in nutrition or metabolism and think a parameter is off, I would rather hear it than not.
Ask about the methodAccessibility
If any part of the calculator is unusable with a keyboard, a screen reader, voice control or at high zoom, that is a defect and I treat it as one. Please mention the browser and assistive technology you are using so I can test against the same combination.
Report an accessibility issuePress, licensing and everything else
Media enquiries, questions about using the tool or its output elsewhere, and anything that does not fit the categories above.
Send a general enquiryWhat I cannot help with
I cannot give medical, dietary or clinical advice, and I will not interpret your results for you or tell you what to eat. That is not reluctance — it is that I am not qualified to, and a stranger with your numbers and no access to your medical history is the wrong person to ask. Questions about whether a particular deficit is safe for you, how a medication affects your metabolism, or what to do about a stalled plateau belong with a doctor or a registered dietitian.
I also hold no account for you and receive nothing you type, so there is no record on my side to correct or delete. Everything you enter stays in your own browser — including a plan you save, which is written to your device and removed by pressing Reset. If you want a copy of your own data, the calculator's Export buttons hand you one directly as a JSON file; you do not need to ask me for it. The privacy policy explains all of this in detail.
Before you write
A good share of incoming email is answered already by the frequently asked questions on the calculator page — particularly the two that come up most often: why this projection is slower than the one you used before, and why no goal date comes back at all. The second is usually the intake plateauing above the goal weight inside the 365-day horizon, which means the deficit closes before the goal does.
If you want the background on the engine and the research behind it, the about page covers both.
